Accessibility

Design

We have designed the site using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS2) to control almost all of the presentation and layout, to help ensure it is structured to be friendly to screenreader users.

Sitemap

You can use the sitemap to get an overview of what is on the site.

Content

Content has been written using short sentences, meaningful links and avoiding unexplained jargon wherever possible. We have added a pensions glossary to explain all the key terms.

Some of the visual content on the site uses Adobe Flash. We have tried to make sure this content does not form part of the key information the site is intended to convey.

Navigation

Wherever possible we have avoided using images as links. We have used the TabIndex feature to allow you to use the tab keyboard key to both navigate the site without a mouse, and also the pensions advisor and calculator forms.

Standards

We have tried to conform to W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, especially the Priority 1 & 2 guidelines. If you have any problems, comments and or suggestions please don't hesitate to contact us about the site (email : info@pensionsforartists.org.uk).

This site is funded by Arts Council England for educational purposes. No financial advice is given on this site and you are advised to seek personal independent financial advice before undertaking any investment.
